Projects

High School and Technical Scholarships - Six each year to five high schools
    Greendale High, Greenfield High, Martin Luther High, Muskego High and Whitnall High.
    Graduating Seniors - $1000 each award
    Application – Click Here to Download Word Form - Application
        Print the form, complete it and return it to your counselor – who will forward it to us.

Criteria and Deadline: 

2006-2007 School Year Seniors who are attending a high school in Greendale, Greenfield, Hales Corners

or Muskego are eligible for the $1000 non-renewable scholarship. 

Deadline for application is March 1, 2007.

 
Technical Scholarships
    Application – For community students/residents to attend a local technical college – MATC, WCTC or ITT.

World Affairs Seminars
    What It Is – This educational program for high school students provides a forum for future leaders to learn, study and

       discuss complex global issues and problems.

Centennial Projects
    Celebrating Rotary International's Centennial - 100th Year of worldwide service
       Muskego - Veterans Park (next to City Hall) Sign
       Greenfield - Wireless Internet network at Greenfield Library
       Hales Corners - Village welcoming signs - updating Rotary sponsored sign and coordination all welcoming sign updating

Centennial Convention Home Hosting Event

    Hosted 19 Rotary International's Centennial Convention visitors - for tour of Milwaukee area and excellent meal at local

lake front restaurant.


High School Ninth Grader "Choices Program"

Introduction of significance of choices made during high school years.


Highway Cleanup

State coordinated program of road cleaning - Hales Corners to Greenfield - State Highway 24/Forest Home Avenue


Annual Community Services Programs

Annual club project such as Christmas party for battered wives/children, food drives, senior social events, Boy Scout programs, Girl Scout programs, Boys and Girls Clubs, Food Pantries,


Craft Fairs

Christmas and Easter time craft fairs - hosted at Whitnall High School - first Saturday in December and first Saturday in April each year.
