On November 9th, our Rotary Club will again be volunteering to assist the Hunger Task Force with building Stock Boxes for low income seniors. We will be volunteering during the afternoon shift 1-4pm). This is a great event to involve family members so please register them as well. We volunteered to have 15+ volunteers so I want to make sure we fulfill our obligation. The event takes place at the Hunger Task Force warehouse (300 E. College Avenue, Milwaukee 53207) located at MKE Regional Business Park (used to be an Air Force base). The building is 2nd on the right after you enter the business park. Look for the sign on the corner of the building directing you to the Volunteer Entrance, park in that parking area and enter at the BLUE door marked D. A few policies I want to make sure you are aware of: · We start at 1pm sharp so please do your best to arrive 10 minutes before 1pm. · Strict footwear policy. We require you to forward this message to each one of your food sort group participants they must wear tennis shoes or work boots! · Please bring water to drink and snacks if you like. · Volunteers must be 12 or older. Anyone 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult or parent. This is such a great organization and event so I hope you will consider taking 3 hours to volunteer at this event! If you have any questions, please email me directly at petri.rjma@gmail.com.
