Public is invited to human trafficking community forum at Whitnall High School on February 25th.  Whitnall Park Rotary Club is sponsoring the event, featuring a personal story and panel of experts.

Human trafficking is a major threat to our communities.  Whitnall Park Rotary Club is sponsoring an event at Whitnall High School (116th and Edgerton) auditorium beginning at 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2020 to address some of the threats our children are facing.  This educational event is designed to help all of us become aware of how common human trafficking has become and how tragic it is for the victims. The keynote speaker is a human trafficking victim who will share a personal story about the experience.  A panel of local experts will make a presentation and answer questions during an open forum segment to conclude the event.

This event is free and open to all parents and teens, grandparents, family members, friends and neighbors. Teachers, business owners, and any other interested individuals are also welcome.  There will be community resources in the lobby before and after the event.  Please contact Scott Weyda of the Whitnall Park Rotary Club with any questions.
