Lisa Olson received a Paul Harris award from Whitnall Park Rotary at the recent Changing of
the Guard event for her service on the Board for the past three years where she contributed
new ideas, leadership, key insights and professional perspective. She was the driving force
behind a successful Students of the Month program outreach and a streamlined student
scholarship process and award dinner. Lisa also committed to the Human Trafficking initiative
of our club this past year, and saw it through when other school districts failed to get on board.

Judy and Tom Weiss also received a Paul Harris award from the club for their many years of
dependable volunteerism in service projects such as the Hunger Task Force stockboxing,
Hunger Task Force farm day, Forest Home Avenue road clean-up, Vietnam Wall Traveling
Exhibit, China Lights, the Fourth of July Parade, and many others. Judy has contributed good
ideas for club activities and projects, serves as one of the Craft Fair leadership team members,
and has handled the “sunshine” responsibility of our club for the past four years. Tom has
pursued the establishment of two scholarships in technical education this year in his role as
Vocational Services Director, and does extra things to support the Craft Fair, including leading
the clean-up afterward.
